We bought the “Gardens of Florence and Tuscany” guide book by Mariachiara Pozzana a few weeks back in the Palazzo Medici Ricardi bookstore. It is useful guide if you are into gardens and in the Florence area. What I didn’t realize is how many gardens there are and how many are private but could be visited with a reservation. The author provides all this information. So far we’ve hit about six different gardens, but plan to pick up the pace when the weather gets better and all the citrus comes out of the greenhouses.
